Customizing the Feedback Survey

Webinar Pro and Premium users can create custom questions for the feedback survey.

If you have a Webinar Pro or Webinar Premium account, you can customize the questions in your feedback survey.

NOTE: If Premium Survey has been activated on your account, reference this article.

1 Access the feedback survey. Begin by selecting your webinar. From the left-hand navigation, click Engagement. Scroll to the bottom and ensure Survey is toggled to blue.

NOTE: Don't want to survey your attendees? Toggle Survey to gray.

Click Edit in Survey Designer.

2 Add questions. Ensure Build is selected on the far right. Then, click and drag the desired question type onto the canvas. Your choices include:

  • Choice Question - Includes Single Answer, which displays answer choices in a radio button format so that registrants can only select one, as well as Multiple Answers, which displays answer choices in a check box format so that registrants can select more than one. Each answer choice can have up to 300 characters.

  • Date & Time Question - Displays a date and time box to ensure that your registrants enter the correct format.

  • Number Question - Displays a text box where registrants can enter a number, decimal, or currency, depending on your settings.

  • Rating Question - Displays a scale where registrants can rate from poor to excellent. Choose to display the scale with stars, emoticons, or words.

  • Text Question - Displays an open-ended text field or comment box where registrants can write freely or within the character limits you specify.

When the styling options appear to the right, enter the question details. Options will vary depending on the selected question type.

3 Add sub-questions, if necessary. For Choice or Rating question types, you have the ability to add sub-questions and sub-sub-questions. Hover over the ellipsis (...) in the top-left of the question you want to add a sub-question to, then click Add Sub-Question.

Select a question type, then configure the rest of the question settings in the styling options to the right.

To the right of the canvas, scroll down to the Sub-Question Logic section and indicate which answer choice the sub-question will display for.

To add a sub-sub-question, hover over the ellipsis(...) in the top-left of the sub-question, then click Add Sub-Question. Sub-sub-questions can only be added to sub-questions of the Choice or Rating question type.

Don't forget to scroll down to the Sub-Question Logic section and indicate which answer choice the sub-question will display for.

4 Add page elements, if necessary. Click and drag the image or text widget onto the canvas and continue customizing in the styling options to the right.

5 Finalize your survey. After you've added everything you want to your survey, you can reorder it by grabbing a section and dragging it to where you want it to appear on the canvas.

If you need to delete a question, hover over the ellipsis (...) in the top-left of the question you want to remove, then click Delete.

When you are happy with your edits, click Publish.
